Mid century modern home office

Tasked with building and designing a custom home office In a mid century style, I was right at home on this project. The clients had a large amount of maple and cherry that was harvested on their property. They also had an office that lacked functionality. This office utilized their lumber to reflect the style of the home in an appealing way.

I designed this office to accommodate both legal and letter files throughout. Adjustable shelving allows for flexibility. The spalted maple top features an eco-friendly matte lacquer and cord grommets. The casework is finished with a durable oil hard wax.

As with every project I try my best to honor the trees with my craftsmanship and give them another life. This project accomplished that goal.
